If these non-gypsy groups were born with syphilis, which probably wouldn’t happen in the first place, the mother would have been tested by a modern doctor, they would have been treated and would have had fast access to the anti-syphilis medicine at the time.

The mainstream holocaust historian book “Mengele: Unmasking the Angel of Death” by historian David G. Marwell actually affirms a lot of the things you say. The author is a jewish historian, but he seems skeptical of a lot of the comical claims about Mengele.
